Brodhead is a small city set in the rolling green countryside of southern Wisconsin near the Illinois border.  The community of 3,200 is one that is progressive yet one that doesn't want to forget its strong ties to history. Brodhead, Wisconsin was incorporated in the year 1891.

For those wishing to get away from the urban rat race, Brodhead has much to offer.   It is conveniently located within a two hour drive of Chicago, within 40 minutes of Madison, 90 minutes from Milwaukee and is one hour from Rockford.

Escaping to Brodhead is guaranteed to be relaxing and a decision you won't regret. The Sugar River Bike Trail, a Go-Kart race track, public swimming pool and an 18-hole golf course offer visitors many recreational activities.  Other fun spots include a historical railroad depot museum, two campgrounds and relaxing picnic sites.  The Sugar River also allows visitors to enjoy canoeing and fishing.
